James Wm. Lowery Antiques is our only Business. Our gallery maintains an ever changing inventory that is open year round by appointment. All inquiries are met with prompt response and are treated with confidentiality. We take great pride in helping people find choice Antiques. Our customers are both beginning and advanced collectors, decorators, professional designers and museums. In addition, we have always enjoyed working with fellow antiques dealers.

Appraisals

For over 25 years, James Wm. Lowery Antiques has been offering appraisal service for Personal Interest, Insurance or Charitable Contributions. We realize the importance of having an accurate up to date appraisal. We provide an appraisal based on knowledge rather than presumption. Our professional Appraisal is to establish a Fair Market Value that reflects both the current replacement cost and current market value. Our fee is based on a competitive hourly rate, regardless of an item’s value.

Brokerage/Sales/Consignment

• James Wm. Lowery is ready to assist in the dispersal of a single item or a complete collection at any time. Either on a Commission Rate or a Fixed Return Price - contact us for details. Included with these programs: Photography, Advertising Fees / Costs, Insurance, Internet Services, as well as, any related merchandising. If your items do not sell, you get your items back at no cost to you. Regardless of Program, the consignor is responsible to deliver the merchandise to our facility, or pay for the shipping. If merchandise is not sold, the consignor is responsible for pick-up or shipping costs. Of course, we are happy to assist with arrangements.
• James Wm. Lowery will act as a Agent to locate, evaluate and purchase specific items from third parties. We will also act on a client’s behalf to authenticate and purchase pieces, being offered either privately or at public auction. The client is responsible for any expenses specific to that acquisition, as well as, an agreed upon percentage of the purchase price.

At James Wm. Lowery Antiques special attention is always devoted to each client. We understand that, each client’s particular wants and needs are unique. James Wm. Lowery Antiques creates lasting relationships by understanding the clients’ interests and passion, and then providing valuable guidance regarding their Antique Purchase. We actively assist clients in refining their collections, whether it is an important piece of furniture or that special accessory that is needed to complete a room.

Sales

James William Lowery Antiques does not have an immediate buy back policy, but does implement an upgrade policy to help clients improve their tangible assets.
James William Lowery Antiques is always interested in items we have sold. We will purchase individual items or entire collections, when those items are consistent with the type and quality of the objects we maintain in inventory or similar items shown on this site.
