A graceful character associated with the beginning of the Sheraton Period is evident in this Fine Federal Corner Stand. 

The high arched back sweeps down in a reverse curve to a working shelf with a perfectly valanced crotch mahogany apron.  Below is a median shelf, the shelves apron is faced with highly grained crotch mahogany, as well as, its small centered working drawer.  All the above is lifted with especially fine turned legs, slender and decorated with ring turnings and a small bulbous cuff.
